Crawled out of bed this morning and walked down to the Farmer's Market which is 3-4 blocks away, down by the water front. It is held on Tues and Sat, May - Oct. Tuesday's market is much smaller than the one on Saturday, so they say, and we'll find out when we go back on Saturday. It's in a permanent structure and next door are coffee shops, bakeries, etc. It was so exciting to get field ripened tomatoes, corn that was picked yesterday, peaches that are ripe when you buy them and field ripened cantelopes, etc. However, no fire roasted chilies... 8-)Tuesday, July 05, 2011
