Today's expedition was out to The Old Mill located in a residential are of North Little Rock. This structure and park, dedicated in 1933, is a replica of a mill built in 1832.The water wheel still turns. The Old Mill was filmed in the opening scenes of the movie
Gone With The Wind, which was released in 1939.
One of the flowers on the grounds of the park surrounding The Old Mill. It looked very different than it did when we saw it in January. Back then, there was snow, ice, bare trees and a bitter north wind blowing.
