On the Arkansas River, near Conway, AR, is the Toad Suck Lock and Dam. I love that name.... The Toad Suck Dam is one of 18 locks and dams on the Arkansas River - 5 in Oklahoma and 13 in Arkansas including one in Little Rock. This picture is looking upriver from the dam. The last time we saw it, there was 6 inches of snow on the ground.
